GPML Model of Geopolitical Risk for Business
Geopolitical risk is systemic pressure. Its economic impact depends on how organizations are structured to absorb it.This volume presents the STAIRS GPML Framework (Systemic Trans-mission and Articulation of International Risk Structure – Global Probable Maximum Loss), a methodological framework designed to connect systemic geopolitical pressure with firm-level economic exposure.
The framework is the result of a multi-year research path developed by ISR Institute and strengthened through academic collaboration with BI Norwegian Business School and the Free University of Bolzano. It represents the evolution of earlier experimental models toward a more rigorous transmission architecture.
